Sabat Natalia Ivanivna was born on July 23, 1992 in the village of Bokiv in the Podhayetskyi district of Ternopil region.

In 1998-2007 she studied at the Bokiv Secondary School of 1-2 degrees.

In 2007-2009 she studied at Ivano-Frankivsk Secondary School of 1-3 degrees Nr. 1 of Ivano-Frankivsk City Council in Ivano-Frankivsk region.

In 2009-2014 she studied at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, majoring in Language and Literature (Polish) and received her Master’s Degree with Honours BA Nr. 47462650 and obtained a qualification as a Philologist, Teacher of Polish Language and Literature, Ukrainian Literature. In 2017-2018 she studied at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University on the speciality of Social Work (educational program “Social Pedagogy”) and received a Master’s Degree with honours M 18 No. 125549 and obtained a professional qualification of Social Pedagogue, Psychologist, Teacher of Social Pedagogical and Psychological Disciplines.

From November 1, 2014 she studied in postgraduate studies on a day-release basis on the specialty 13.00.04 – Theory and Methodology of Vocational Education of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, which she completed early. On May 5, 2017 she protected her dissertation on the topic: “Preparing Future Teachers for Tutoring Activities with Migrant Children” in the specialty 13.00.04 – Theory and Methodology of Vocational Education and received a scientific degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences (ДК Nr. 043479, with the decision of Attestation Board as of June 26, 2017). From 01.09.2014 till 31.10.2014 she worked as a teacher of Ukrainian language and literature at Bokiv Secondary School of 1-2 degrees of Pidhaietska District Council of Ternopil region.

Since March 1, 2016 she has been working as an Assistant (since September 1, 2018 – as a Lecturer) of the Department of Social Pedagogy and Social Work at State Higher Educational Establishment “Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University”.

Academic activities. She is the author of more than fifty scientific and methodological works, one of which is a collective monograph, author of two manuals. She regularly participates in national and international scientific conferences held in Kielce, Lublin, Sandomierz (Poland), Tbilisi (Georgia), Rome (Italy), Dobrich (Bulgaria), Sladkovich (Slovenia), Morrisville (USA) and others.

Educational activities. She develops and teaches Social Work History courses (28 hours of lectures, 32 hours of seminars) for 1-st year students studying under the Social Work educational program; Social Work Workshop (42 hours of seminars) for IV-year students studying under the Social Work educational program; Gender Pedagogy (18 hours of seminars), Socio-Pedagogical Fundamentals of Recreational Activity (12 hours of lectures, 18 hours of seminars) for the 4-th year students studying under the Social Pedagogy educational program; developed a program of industrial practice in Centre of Social Services for Family, Children and Youth (90 hours) for the students of the III-year course, who study under the Social Work educational program.

She supervises the writing of master’s works. Every year she prepares students to participate in reporting scientific conferences. She prepared two students of the CP-20 group (Baranovska I., Striletska L.) to participate in the second stage of All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad on social work.

Head of production practice at Centre of Social Services for Family, Children and Youth of the students at the faculty majoring in Social Work (2018-2019).

Internship. She has completed an internship at the Varna University of Management (Bulgaria) on “European Standards of Management in the Sphere of Higher Education” in 2015; an international program of professional development for teachers within the framework of the European Program for Education “Program for Academics within the Framework of European Education Week 2017” at Varna University of Management (Bulgaria) 2017.

She was trained on the technology “Features of the Fairy-tale Therapy Implementation in the Work of a Practical Psychologist and Social Educator” (certificate Nr. K-176, 2016); she participated in the ART-PRAKTIK International Art Therapy Festival (Ivano-Frankivsk, March 10-11, 2018); and she held a training on Women, Peace, Security: Gender Aspects of Conflicts (Kyiv, September 7-8, 2018).

Work in the Admissions Committee. For three years (2017–2019) she worked at the Admissions Committee of State Higher Educational Establishment “Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University” (Technical Secretary, Unified State Electronic Database on Education user).

Authorization. She acts as a responsible person for the student’s scientific work and the she is responsible for the educational work of the department. Curator of the CPCP-20 group, with the students of which she carries out the educational work according to a separate plan.

Range of academic interest: social work, history of social work, social pedagogy, migrant pedagogy, vocational training of social workers, work with vulnerable categories of persons.
