Lemko Halyna Ivanivna

Lemko Halyna Ivanivna –  Candidate of Pedagogic Sciences, Associate Professor at the Department of Social Pedagogy and Social Work of the Faculty of Pedagogy at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University.

In 1996, graduated from Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian University (now Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University), specialty – Primary Education, the Nursing Education in orphanage and boarding school, qualification – primary school teacher, an orphanage and boarding school teacher.

In 2008, graduated from Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University with a degree in Social Pedagogy and obtained the qualification of a social pedagogue, teacher of social pedagogy in higher educational establishments of the I-II accreditation level.

In December 2006, at the meeting of the Specialized Academic Council K 20.051.01 at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, defended her PhD thesis on “Contents of Primary Education in Ukrainian Schools in Western Ukrainian lands (1919-1939)”, specialty 13.00.01 – General Pedagogy and History of Pedagogy and received a Ph.D. in Pedagogical Sciences (DK No. 040855, Decision of the Attestation Commission of May 10, 2007).

In 2010, by the Decision of the Certification Board she was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor of the Department of Social Pedagogy.

Since 2005 has been working at the Department of Social Pedagogy, since 2013 – at the Department of Social Pedagogy and Social Work at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University.

Scientific activity: author of more than 160 scientific publications in Ukrainian and foreign publications, including 1 monograph, 14 textbooks, participant of International and All-Ukrainian scientific-practical conferences, co-author of collective monographs and scientific articles.

Educational and methodical activity:

– have developed and read training courses: “Technology of socio-pedagogical activities (leisure)”, “Supervision in social work”, “Socio-pedagogical activities at the place of residence”, “Social work to combat human trafficking”, “Fundamentals of victimology”;

– perform the duties of the chairman / member of the subject attestation commission for obtaining а bachelor’s and master’s degree;

– manage a student scientific circle;

– prepare students to participation in reporting scientific conferences and All-Ukrainian Olympiads in social pedagogy and social work;

– conduct career guidance work with graduates of secondary schools and colleges.

Social activities:

– planning the workload of the department;

– responsible for educational and methodical work at the department;

– Member of the Academic Council of the Pedagogical Department at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University.

 Educational activity:

– curator of the SRSP-22 academic group.
